Interesting Times.....
These are truly interesting times in the real estate industry. Many offices are either closing, consolidating, cutting back on services to their agents, or merging with other offices or companies.
Not so RE/MAX Village Properties. In April of 2008 we opened our second office and have added seven new agents to our roster. Also, 2008 was one of our best years for sales as we fell only $500,000 short of our 2007 sales. That's quite an impressive number in this market. We are already negotiating to go into other local markets and hope to open our third office within the next twelve months.
Why? Why are we growing when others are desperately trying to hang on through this recession? It's simply really. Because unlike other offices and franchises, RE/MAX Village Properties works to enhance the agents and their businesses. Not the agent working for the franchise or the office.
